Hello and welcome to the Lamai Scuba Divers. Lamai Scuba Divers is a professional dive school based in Lamai on the island of Koh Samui in Thailand. Whether you have never dived before or whether you are a dive master or instructor, Lamai Scuba Divers will take care of all of your scuba diving needs and make sure you have a fabulous time on your dives.
Who Are We?
The Lamai Scuba Diving team is made up of professional PADI Instructors and Dive Masters. Every member of staff works together with you to ensure that you have a fantastic scuba diving experience. With over 15 years of training between us, you can rest assured that you are in safe hands when you choose to dive with us. Our staff speaks a wide range of languages including English, French, German and Thai, so no matter where you are from you can dive freely knowing that you will be taught in a language that you know and understand.
What Do We Offer?
Unlike the other dive companies on Koh Samui, Lamai Scuba Divers offer VIP one to one instruction at no extra cost to you. This doesn’t mean to say that you cannot learn to dive in a group if this is what you prefer, although one to one instruction guarantees that you are completely comfortable in the water and that you get the most out of your dives. We also offer snorkelling trips so if one of your party would rather snorkel than dive they are more than welcome to join us for the day. All bookings with Lamai Scuba Divers include a free hotel transfer to and from the dive boat, full equipment, breakfast, lunch and beverages.
What Can I Learn?
Lamai Scuba Divers offer both PADI and SSI courses so no matter which company you prefer we are more than qualified to teach you. From the bubble maker course through to the open water, advanced open water, rescue and dive master courses we can guide you through your entire dive education if this is what you wish. We also cater for children, with children as young as 8 welcome to join us for a fun day in the swimming pool and take their first breath underwater.
What Can I See?
All dive excursions take place around the neighbouring island of Koh Tao. There are numerous different dive sites available, all suited to different abilities. Whether you are a beginner or an expert you can rest assured that we will take you to an ideal dive location. With crystal clear waters most months of the year there is plenty to see in the Gulf of Thailand. Marine life worthy of a mention includes whale sharks, turtles, clown fish (Nemo), trigger fish, barracuda, moray eels and sea horses. At some of our more experienced dive sites there is even a chance to see bull sharks towards the end of the year.
